WILL HELP OUR STATE GET TO OUR GOAL. REALLY EXCITED ABOUT CELEBRATING AND HIGHLIGHTING HOW IMPORTANT THIS INDUSTRY IS FOR OKLAHOMA AND FOR CENTRAL OKLAHOMA. AN IMPORTANT INDUSTRY INDEED THAT CONTINUES TO GROW IN OKLAHOMA. IN 2017, THE AEROSPACE INDUSTRY HAD A $44 BILLION ECONOMIC IMPACT ON OUR STATE, WITH 11,000 COMPANIES. THIS YEAR, ANOTHER MEASURE IS EXPECTED. WE EXPECT IT TO BE EVEN INCREASED MORE. AND IT’S REALLY IMPORTANT TO THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA. THE INDUSTRY IS SO IMPORTANT TO THE ENTIRE STATE. IT’S ALSO SO IMPORTANT TO US IN CENTRAL OKLAHOMA. YOU KNOW, OF THOSE 200,000 JOBS THAT ARE AVAILABLE, YOU KNOW, IN OKLAHOMA AS A WHOLE, 45,000 OF THOSE ARE HERE IN OKLAHOMA CITY. THIS HIGHLIGHTS THE WORK THAT’S BEEN DONE. AND WHAT’S TO COME. THE STATE HOSTING AEROSPACE WEEK WITH EVENTS KICKING OFF TODAY. EXPECT HALF OFF MUSEUM TICKETS, NETWORKING AND HIRING EVENTS. The aerospace industry continues to grow in Oklahoma, with a $44 billion impact in 2017 and 11,000 companies contributing to the state's economy.

Oklahoma has launched Aerospace Week with a series of events aimed at celebrating and expanding the state's aerospace industry. "We are really excited about celebrating and highlighting how important this industry is for Oklahoma," said Jeff Seymour, CEO and president of the OKC Innovation District.The aerospace industry continues to grow in Oklahoma, with a $44 billion impact in 2017 and 11,000 companies contributing to the state's economy.
